The Yenaluko Centre for Media Development Foundation is a nonprofit initiative of JournoTECH and its organization, The Colonist Report Africa, dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through media, technology, and education. Registered in Nigeria, Yenaluko Foundation bridges the digital divide by providing AI training, digital literacy programs, and media development initiatives for underserved populations, including women, young people, and people with disabilities.

Our mission is to ensure equitable access to digital tools and media education for individuals who lack resources or opportunities due to geographical, financial, or systemic barriers. By leveraging AI and emerging technologies, we help communities gain media skills, navigate misinformation, and use technology for storytelling, advocacy, and career advancement.

  • Digital Inclusion & AI Training – Providing hands-on training in AI, cybersecurity, and digital tools to enhance knowledge and employability.
  • Media Development & Literacy – Equipping journalists, educators, and local storytellers with the skills to produce credible, impactful content.
  • Technology for Social Good – Developing and implementing AI-powered solutions that improve access to information, support local languages, and drive positive social change.
  • Community Engagement & Advocacy – Partnering with grassroots organizations to advocate for policies that promote digital rights, accessibility, and ethical media practices.

At Yenaluko Foundation, we believe that access to knowledge and technology is a fundamental right. Through strategic collaborations with JournoTECH and The Colonist Report Africa, we are committed to building a more inclusive digital future and empowering communities to tell their own stories.
