As part of our growing work in immersive and emerging technologies, JournoTECH launched the Digital Futures Lab, an experimental initiative exploring how artificial intelligence, immersive technologies, interactive storytelling, and digital experiences are shaping society.

Through the Lab and the Digital Futures Room, we are building immersive and interactive experiences that encourage learning, creativity, public engagement, collaboration, and accessible innovation across different sectors and communities.

Training Capacity Building and Future Skills

We believe technology is only as powerful as the people who can use it effectively. JournoTECH delivers practical, hands on training in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, immersive technologies, and emerging digital tools.

Our training focuses on real world applications that help professionals integrate technology into their daily work and prepare for the future digital economy.

The JournoTECH Digital Futures Lab is an experimental immersive and emerging technology initiative exploring how artificial intelligence, immersive technologies, digital literacy, and interactive experiences are shaping society.

The Lab brings together academics, journalists, researchers, students, technologists, educators, legal professionals, creatives, and underserved communities to explore responsible and inclusive approaches to future technologies.

Through immersive experiences, public engagement, experimental projects, interactive storytelling, and collaborative innovation, the Lab aims to make emerging technologies more accessible, understandable, and socially beneficial.

NewsAssist AI

NewsAssist AI is our flagship platform designed to support multiple professional sectors, including journalism, academia, research, and the legal profession.

The platform helps professionals working with large volumes of information save time and improve accuracy by allowing users to:

FoodVerify AI

Currently in market testing, FoodVerify AI is a free to use platform designed to help individuals make safer and more informed food choices.

The platform allows users to:

  • Check food ingredients against health and safety standards
  • Determine the health value of ingredients
  • Compare compliance across regions including the UK, US, EU, and Nigeria

FoodVerify AI is currently open for public testing and feedback.
